Commitment Ceremony

My familiarity with commitment ceremonies is perhaps more as a consequence of  direct  family association. I mention this knowing how vital it is to have a celebrant with sufficient sensitivity and empathy. For two people, two lovers of the same sex, you commit yourselves to a lasting love, ongoing fidelity to each other. I would ask you separately, then as  a couple, before family and friends, to make such a promise, a publicly proclaimed commitment. Working creatively together, we’d plan a ceremony celebrating your love, giving social recognition to your decision to accept another totally, to share two lives as one.

I like to wish you both healthy, happy, peaceful years;  a life enriched by the association of family and friends; happiness, in a safe loving world.
